Impound Release

Requirements to Release an Impounded Vehicle

In order to release an impounded vehicle, you MUST have the following:

Valid Driver's License

A current, valid driver's license is required.

Title, Registration, or Insurance Card

Must include the FULL VIN # of the vehicle.

Cash for Payment

Cash payment is required at the time of vehicle release.

Daily Storage Rates

Daily storage rates apply to each calendar day.

UW Impounds

UW Transportation Services Impounds

Special Requirements: If your vehicle was impounded by the U.W. Transportation Services, the following requirements apply for vehicle release.
  • A Valid Driver's License
  • Title, Registration, or Insurance Card with FULL VIN #
  • Proof of Payment to U.W. for Tickets (or as a last option, you may pay your tickets to Prairie Land)
  • Daily Storage Rates Apply After Midnight of the Impound
