By accessing our website plt-wi.com, using our towing and roadside assistance services, or communicating with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Use of Services

Prairie Land Towing provides towing, vehicle recovery, roadside assistance, equipment hauling, and related services across Southern Wisconsin. By requesting our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your vehicle and location
• Pay all applicable fees and charges for services rendered
• Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws
• Not interfere with or obstruct our operators while performing services

2. SMS/Text Messaging Terms

Consent and Opt-In

By providing your phone number when calling for service, submitting a contact form, or verbally consenting during a service request, you agree to receive text messages from Prairie Land Towing. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any services.

Message Frequency

Messages are transactional in nature and directly related to your active service request. You may receive messages regarding:

• Tow truck dispatch confirmation and estimated arrival times
• Service status updates (en route, arrived, completed)
• Vehicle storage and release notifications
• Roadside assistance coordination

Message frequency varies based on your service activity. You will not receive promotional or marketing messages.

Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message. You may also opt out by calling (877) 486-9669 or emailing info@PLT-WI.com.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Charges depend on your wireless carrier and plan. Prairie Land Towing is not responsible for any fees charged by your carrier for sending or receiving text messages.

Liability for Messages

We are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless carrier. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

3. Payment Terms

• Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made
• We accept credit/debit cards (processed securely through Square), cash, and approved insurance claims
• Storage fees accrue daily for vehicles held at our facilities
• Failure to pay may result in a mechanic’s lien being placed on the vehicle in accordance with Wisconsin law

4. Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Prairie Land Towing shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim
• We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control
• Pre-existing vehicle damage documented prior to towing is not the responsibility of Prairie Land Towing
• We carry appropriate insurance coverage as required by Wisconsin law and our municipal contracts

5. Vehicle Storage

• Vehicles are stored at the owner’s risk, though we take reasonable precautions to ensure security
• Storage fees begin accumulating from the date and time the vehicle is received
• Vehicle release requires proper identification, proof of ownership, and payment of all outstanding fees
• Abandoned vehicles will be processed in accordance with Wisconsin Statutes Chapter 342

6. Website Use

When using our website, you agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Submit false or misleading information through our forms
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the website
